Senator Tim Kraayenbrink and his wife, Sally, are proud to call Iowa their home. They have raised three children and enjoy four grandchildren. They have also been licensed foster parents for fifteen years.

Senator Kraayenbrink is a small business owner in Fort Dodge. He has been a financial advisor since 1988, and has owned Kraayenbrink Financial Services since 2007, serving as a business leader in the community. From 1982-1988, Senator Kraayenbrink was a teacher and coach in the Northwest Webster School District in Barnum, Iowa.

Senator Kraayenbrink and Sally are both originally from Paullina, Iowa. After graduating high school in 1978, Senator Kraayenbrink went on to attend Northern State College in Aberdeen, South Dakota. He attended on a football scholarship and received a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education in 1982.

The Kraayenbrinks are members of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Fort Dodge. Senator Kraayenbrink has spent his life serving his community through various church and school leadership positions. He supports several civic organizations through his membership. Both Senator Kraayenbrink and Sally enjoy serving their community and helping make a positive impact in others’ lives.
