Senator Dennis Guth has called a farm just north of Klemme his home since birth. He graduated from Klemme Community School in 1973, and with a degree in Agricultural Mechanization from Iowa State University in 1977.
Senator Guth has served on several church boards, along with the Klemme Area Development Organization, Hancock County Pork Producers, Hancock County Farm Bureau and FAMILY LEADER/Iowa Family Policy Center.
Senator Guth has been married to his high school sweetheart, Margaret (Campbell), for over 40 years. Together they have five adult children – three of which are married – and many delightful grandchildren.
