Senator Tim Kapucian was first elected in 2008 and works to strengthen Iowa’s economy through job growth legislation and improving the state’s infrastructure.

Senator Kapucian has been involved in agriculture his entire life.  He grew up on a farm northwest of Keystone, and went on to earn a B.S. in animal science from Iowa State University. He has farmed for the last 37 years.  He is a past president of the Iowa Pork Producers and served three years on the Agriculture Advisory Board to the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago.

Senator Kapucian and his wife, Brenda, own and run a grain and livestock farm just outside Keystone.
