Jim Hahn previously served seven terms in the Iowa House of Representatives and was recently re-elected to a second term in the Senate. A lifelong resident of Muscatine, Senator Hahn graduated from Muscatine High School and is a property manager.
He is active on various boards and is a member of several organizations throughout the state including the Iowa Pork Producers, Farm Bureau, Iowa Pork Producers Association, Iowa Beef Producers Association, Iowa Soybean Growers Association, Elks Masonic Lodge, Muscatine Chamber of Commerce, and is a member of Wesley United Methodist Church.
Senator Hahn has four daughters and six grandchildren.

Federal election law requires state parties to use best efforts to
report the name, mailing address, occupation, and name of employer of
individuals whose contributions exceed $200 in a calendar year. An
individual may not contribute more than a total of $10,000 per calendar
year to a combination of state, district and local parties. Federal law
prohibits contributions to the state parties from the general treasury
funds of a corporation, labor organizations or national banks (including
corporate or other business entity credit cards), from any person
contributing another’s funds, from a Federal government contractor, or
from a foreign national who lacks permanent resident status.
